Visa Fashion Week Almaty: Day two.
We continue to share and showcase the highlights from the second day of Visa Fashion Week Almaty – a day filled with even more color, movement, and cultural code.

The second day of the shows opened with the brand Pentatonica, proving that sometimes form speaks louder than color. The almost monochrome collection invited close attention: asymmetrical hems, ruffled sleeves, and weightless layering made each look intriguing and dynamic.

The winner of the Next Designer Award 2025, Fournest – founded by Dmitry Khalitov and Maria Nesterova – presented a collection that was a powerful statement. Their show became an emotional reflection on pressing environmental issues: pollution, forest fires, illegal landfills, and climate change. Alongside the garments, models conveyed meaning through expressive facial gestures and heavy, masked gazes, as if inviting the audience into an honest and deep conversation.

One of the brightest moments of the Visa Fashion Week Almaty’s second day came from the local brand AzukarMoreno, which embodied the solar energy of Uzbekistan.
The show exploded with color and dance, expressing the idea that clothing is an extension of one’s inner energy, national identity, and deeply rooted traditions.
A point of special pride for the brand is its use of natural fabrics, handmade by artisans from Margilan. This detailed craftsmanship bridges modern design with the support of local artisan communities, preserving generational ties and the cultural heritage of the region.

Another standout was the show by the Armenian brand MANUKALEKSANYAN, especially for its richly textured jackets adorned with pearls, pins, and complex decorative elements. Through the richness of each piece, the designer conveyed the depth of Armenian culture and the beauty of its heritage.

"We believe fashion is not just clothing. It’s a language of culture, a dialogue with the world, and a tool for shaping a new image of the country," said Bauyrzhan Shadibekov, General Director of Visa Fashion Week Almaty.
This thought perfectly captures the essence of the second day: here, fashion speaks not just of style, but of meaning, roots, and identity.
