Andrea Bocelli to perform in Samarkand
The artist will take the stage at Registan Square
Residents of Samarkand are in for one of the most anticipated events of the autumn – a grand concert by Andrea Bocelli at Registan Square. On September 1st, the legendary tenor of our time will perform for the first time on one of the world’s most breathtaking stages. Throughout his career, Bocelli has sold more than 90 million records and has been nominated for 6 Grammy Awards and 6 Latin Grammy Awards.
That evening, the audience will hear some of the greatest works of classical music along with Bocelli’s most iconic hits, performed alongside special guest Aida Garifullina, the National Symphony Orchestra, and choir ensembles of Uzbekistan.
The Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan organize the event.
