Brandon Maxwell marks his 10-year anniversary

On September 9, just a day before the official start of Fashion Week, Brandon Maxwell unveiled his Spring/Summer 2026 collection in the grand halls of Sotheby’s New York.
The anniversary collection fused sporty aesthetics with childlike imagination: jackets in animal prints, feathered accents, and whimsical illustrations of animals across T-shirts and skirts. The runway also featured sharp leather suits, double-breasted blazers, pencil skirts, and flowing dresses. Maxwell emphasized that he deliberately avoided a retrospective. Instead, he chose to channel lightness and joy, drawing inspiration from a recent visit to the Design Library in New York’s Hudson Valley.
