Marie Antoinette Style exhibition
At the Victoria and Albert Museum in London

The Marie Antoinette Style exhibition will open on September 20 at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. Dedicated to the image and legacy of Marie Antoinette, the show brings together over 250 objects from Versailles: silk shoes, jewelry, fragments of gowns, items from her dressing table, and even her final letter. The exhibition also features costumes from Sofia Coppola’s film “Marie Antoinette” (2006), shoes created for the film by Manolo Blahnik, his original sketches, as well as contemporary interpretations of the queen’s style by Dior, Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, and Moschino. This is the first exhibition in the UK entirely dedicated to the Queen’s style.
The official sponsor is Manolo Blahnik, who has released a capsule shoe collection inspired by Marie Antoinette’s aesthetic. The exhibition will run until March 22, 2026.
