Open Studio
The traces of a photoshoot usually disappear from the final image. In this editorial, photographer Yongqi Liu does the opposite, turning the space where he works every day into an essential part of the story.
Softboxes, V-flats, apple boxes and other studio equipment remain visible not as backstage elements, but as part of the set itself. The studio becomes an open, deliberately unfinished stage, while the wardrobe continues this tension between polish and freedom: leather and animal prints meet sculptural silhouettes, sharp tailoring and vivid accents.
