Adidas unveils a premium collection

Adidas has launched a premium collection featuring some of its most iconic designs: the Superstar sneakers, Firebird tracksuit, and Airliner bag. Each piece in the A-Type collection is crafted from high-quality leather from Europe’s leading ateliers, elevating these classics to a new level of luxury and craftsmanship. The collection also includes trefoil-shaped jewelry.

“For us, it’s essential to enhance the quality of our iconic pieces and make them premium. We want to give creativity full rein without worrying about profitability,” commented Torben Schumacher, General Manager of Adidas Originals.

While Adidas has previously released premium collections through collaborations, this marks the brand’s first independent venture into high-end territory. If successful, A-Type could become a permanent fixture in the Adidas lineup.
