Alexandre Vauthier
Designer departs his namesake brand
Alexandre Vauthier is officially stepping down from his namesake label Alexandre Vauthier, where he served as creative director for 16 years. In 2023, the brand declared default and was placed under external management.
A graduate of Paris’s prestigious ESMOD, Vauthier began his career under the mentorship of Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier. In 2009, he launched his own brand, which was granted a coveted spot on the Paris Haute Couture Week calendar just five years later.
