All-female crew in space
Blue Origin flight completed
On April 14, 2025, Blue Origin successfully conducted a suborbital flight aboard the New Shepard rocket with an entirely female crew. Among the passengers were Katy Perry, TV host Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, and three other women from the fields of science, human rights, and media.
The flight lasted approximately ten minutes and concluded with a smooth landing in Texas, marking a historic milestone for female representation in space exploration.
