Burberry unveils the Spring-Summer 2025 collection
Deconstructivism takes the stage
Daniel Lee invited artist Gary Hume to create the set design for the show at the National Theatre in London. The set was inspired by Hume’s iconic 1990 work “Bays”.
Models graced the runway in deconstructed dresses that appeared to have been stitched together from trench coats, followed by pants adorned with multiple patch pockets and zippers. Layered collars, tops with capes, rugged parkas with cropped versions, hoods, and shimmering dresses embellished with sequin fringe were all paired with high-heeled sandals.
The neutral palette of beige, black, and gray was refreshed by Daniel Lee with Burberry’s signature check pattern, striped prints, and pastel shades of pink, yellow, and lilac.
