CFDA announces nominees for annual awards
The ceremony will take place on October 28 at the American Museum of Natural History
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has released the list of nominees for its annual awards. The ceremony will be held on October 28 at the American Museum of Natural History.
The nominees in the following categories are:
- American Emerging Designer of the Year: Presley Oldham, Tanner Richie & Fletcher Kassell (Tanner Fletcher), Jackson Wiederhoeft (Wiederhoeft), and Henry Zankov (Zankov).
- American Womenswear Designer of the Year: Rachel Scott (Diotima), Marc Jacobs, Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schouler), Thom Browne, and Tory Burch.
- American Menswear Designer of the Year: Mike Amiri (Amiri), Emily Adams Bode (Bode), Thom Browne, Todd Snyder, and Willy Chavarria.
- American Accessories Designer of the Year: Ana Khouri, Stuart Vevers (Coach), Catherine Holstein (Khaite), Raul Lopez (Luar), and Tory Burch.
The International Designer of the Year award will go to Daniel Roseberry. Michael Kors will receive the Positive Change Award for his efforts to combat hunger through the Watch Hunger Stop program and his UN’s World Food Program support.
