Chanel returns to the Grand Palais
The brand is to host a fashion show on October 1st
The French fashion house Chanel is returning to the Grand Palais in Paris with a runway show for its new collection. This iconic venue was the site of some of Karl Lagerfeld’s most spectacular shows. The upcoming event will take place on October 1st.
The brand is also pledging €30 million to the cultural institution’s budget in exchange for retaining the exclusive right to use the location solely for Chanel fashion shows.
Recently, the house announced a change in its creative director, though the name of the new designer has yet to be revealed.
