Chorrahada: At the Crossroads
Parisian elegance and Eastern roots meet in a fashion story by Kevin Schmalbach.
Chorrahada takes its name from the Uzbek word for being at a crossroads. In this editorial, Paris becomes a meeting place: the geometry of its crossings, the shade of its doorways and the rhythm of its café terraces frame a heroine in motion.
The idea of the Silk Road runs through the story as a thread of cultural exchange. A flowing white dress, soft knitwear and sculptural black separates form a restrained wardrobe, punctuated by handmade jewelry and vintage bracelets. Between sun and shadow, movement and stillness, each look offers another way of inhabiting the city.
