Fendi Brings Back Its Archival Croissant Bag
Maria Grazia Chiuri reinterprets the late-1990s design for Cruise 2027.
Fendi is revisiting a familiar curve. For Cruise 2027, Maria Grazia Chiuri has reinterpreted the Croissant bag, first introduced on the house’s autumn/winter 1999–2000 runway as an extension of the Baguette.

The new versions retain the distinctive half-moon silhouette, FF flap closure and side buckles, with an adjustable strap offering different ways to wear the bag. Finishes range from sequinned embroidery and fringed animal prints to glossy crackled leather and FF Zucca jacquard.

Online pre-sales began on October 16, ahead of the worldwide boutique launch on October 22. The revival brings a playful late-1990s design into Chiuri’s current vision for the Roman house.
