IOC announces venues for Winter Olympic Games
The 2030 games will be held in the French Alps, and the 2034 games in Salt Lake City
At the 142nd session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the venues for the 2030 and 2034 Winter Olympic Games were announced. The 2030 Games will take place in the Alpine regions of France, while the 2034 competition will be held in Salt Lake City, USA.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will be hosted by the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
This decision was made in Paris ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.
