Isabel Marant and Converse unveil first collaboration
Brands release Chuck Love wedge sneakers
French fashion house Isabel Marant has teamed up with Converse to present an updated version of the Chuck Taylor model, which Marant has made “a little worn and bohemian.”
The new design features distressed jacquard made from cotton and polyester, as well as canvas with raw edges. The collection includes the Chuck 70 Wedge sneakers with a 6 cm heel, along with several versions of the Chuck 70 featuring Marant’s elements and branding.
“When you think of wedge sneakers, you think of Isabel Marant… No one embodies effortless Parisian style quite like Isabel,” says Brandis Russell, General Manager of Converse North America.
The new releases will be available on September 11 in Isabel Marant boutiques and on the brand’s official website. Starting September 12, the models will also be available in Converse stores.
