John Galliano steps down from Maison Margiela
The designer served as creative director since 2014

British designer John Galliano is stepping down from his role at the French fashion house Maison Margiela. The announcement was made through his Instagram account.
"Today is the day I say Goodbye to Maison Margiela. My heart overflows with joyous gratitude, and my soul smiles. Living a life better than I ever dreamt possible, and this is thanks to two people – two truly beautiful people whom I both love and cherish. They, however, are too humble to allow me to mention their names here. We know who they are, and I will be forever indebted to them, forever grateful", - Galliano wrote.
The designer has held the position of creative director at Maison Margiela since 2014. Before this, he worked with iconic brands such as Givenchy and Dior.
