Kering appoints new CEO for Yves Saint Laurent
Cédric Charbit takes the helm
The French luxury conglomerate Kering has announced the appointment of a new CEO for the iconic fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. Cédric Charbit will take the role starting January 2, 2025.
Since 2013, the position has been held by Francesca Bellettini, who will transition to a new role as Co-Deputy CEO of Kering. In a statement, Kering highlighted Bellettini’s continued dedication to the brand, emphasizing her pivotal contributions over the years.
Charbit previously served as CEO of Balenciaga, another prestigious brand within the Kering portfolio. His position at Balenciaga will now be filled by Gianfranco Gianangeli.
