Celebrating his tenth anniversary as the creative director of Louis Vuitton's womenswear division, Nicolas Ghesquière presented his Spring-Summer 2025 collection, set to the sounds of Jamie xx’s «Daffodil».

The show transported the audience through time, taking inspiration from the Renaissance era — a reflection of Ghesquière’s own journey, having grown up in the Loire Valley, a region renowned for its centuries-old castles.

The runway featured puffed sleeves, velvet jackets adorned with pearls, and cinched-waist jackets with peplums. Ghesquière seamlessly paired these Renaissance-inspired pieces with modern touches like sporty bike shorts, swimsuits, futuristic dresses, rugged sandals, and oversized, distressed bags.

Delicate blouses, resembling ribbed knit dresses with dropped waists, defied traditional definitions, an intentional move by Ghesquière, who challenged his team to create something indescribable. The show concluded with jackets showcasing artwork by French painter Laurent Grasso from his series «Studies into the Past».
