Marc Jacobs’ spring 2025 campaign
A show set in the library
Marc Jacobs has unveiled his Spring 2025 collection, once again staging his show in the iconic New York Public Library – a tradition that has become the designer's signature. Through his Courage collection, Jacobs explores his personal relationship with fear and creativity, reflecting on the challenges of artistic expression. The show featured the dramatic, exaggerated proportions synonymous with his aesthetic.
Jacobs continues to reshape familiar silhouettes, experimenting with foam padding to redefine volume. The collection is a masterful fusion of materials, as fabrics adorned with sequins, wool, leather, and tweed come together in unexpected combinations.
Marc shared his perspective in the show’s official statement: "With the precious gift of freedom, we dream and imagine without limitations. We dare to be vulnerable in the face of criticism and failure, not to escape reality but to navigate, understand, and confront it. We explore with curiosity, conviction, compassion, and love."
As for accessories, the upcoming season promises bold, hyper-exaggerated footwear, including oversized heels and boots.
