Marco Gobbetti steps down
Salvatore Ferragamo bids farewell to its CEO

Salvatore Ferragamo is parting ways with its Chief Executive Officer, Marco Gobbetti, who will step down in March. Gobbetti has held the position for just over three years, during which he was unable to reverse the company’s declining sales. Over this period, Ferragamo's stock value has dropped by 66%.
The luxury brand has now begun the search for a new CEO. Meanwhile, Leonardo Ferragamo, the fifth son of founder Salvatore Ferragamo, will take over as temporary CEO starting March 6, until a permanent replacement is appointed.
