24% increase in media impact

Milan Design Week 2025 drew widespread attention through collaborations with renowned artists and fashion brands, resulting in a 24% increase in media impact compared to the previous year. According to Karla Otto, the event generated $26.1 million in earned media value (EMV), with 56% attributed to fashion activations.
Among the highlights were a retrospective installation by Dimoremilano, a collaboration between Loro Piana and Dimorestudio, and the Formafantasma project with Prada Frames and Cassina. Vans unveiled its new Old Skool 36 FM model in an immersive exhibition, while British stage designer Es Devlin presented a luminous installation titled "Library of Light."
