Padel is most often played in pairs (2 vs 2), singles matches (1 vs 1) are also possible, though much rarer. The goal of the game is to score more points than your opponents by successfully returning the ball across the court. One team must send the ball to the opposite side in a way that prevents the opponents from returning it properly. The key to winning lies in the strategic use of the ball, the court space, and close coordination with your partner to achieve the best result.

The scoring system is similar to tennis: 15, 30, 40, and game. If the score ties at 40:40, opponents must win two points in a row to secure the game. A match can consist of 3 or 5 sets, each played until one pair wins 6 or 7 games.
Today, padel is one of the fastest-growing and most popular sports worldwide, becoming synonymous with modern urban athletic culture.
