The concept of the “Qatlama” exhibition approaches tradition not as “archaic” or as the opposite of modernity, but as a living form of knowledge capable of dialogue. From family rituals and textile practices to musical heritage and local craftsmanship, traditions continue to live within all aspects of social life, evolving alongside them. Like precious threads, they connect the present to the past, transforming the everyday into something sacred.

“Qatlama” is less about representation and more about exploration – a study of cultural code through multilayered artistic forms and plastic concepts in which environmental traditions are directly reflected. The exhibition is curated by Svetlana Astakhova.

The exhibition will take place on May 10, 6:00 PM, at Human House Gallery
