Red Code
A red backdrop, sharp gestures and an almost mirror-like resemblance draw the subjects of photographer Qu Yi’s editorial into a tense dialogue. In the GEMINI series, they move between confrontation and closeness, exploring the boundary between the self and its reflection. Sculptural silhouettes, graphic makeup and contrasting light heighten a sense of inner conflict that words cannot express.
