Registration is open for the Bukhara Night Race international charity run
ELLE O’zbekiston to serve as a media partner for the event
Registration is now open for the Bukhara Night Race, an international charity run that will take place on August 24th as part of the Samarkand Marathon series. Participants will have the opportunity to race along a lit course that begins after sunset.
The event will take place in the historic part of the city, where runners will complete their distances surrounded by famous landmarks, including mosques, madrasas, caravanserais, and unique ancient structures.
Races are available for registration in 5 km and 10 km distances, as well as Nordic walking and a children’s race for participants aged 4 and up. Additionally, the event will continue the plogging initiative—running while collecting trash. The event will conclude with an electronic music concert by DJ Julioo.
Registration for the Bukhara Night Race is open on the Samarkand Marathon website. The event is organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
