It’s time to choose fashionable shorts for summer 2024. Models that were out of favor for several years are now trending. This list includes everything from knee-length shorts to ultra-short and sporty options. ELLE breaks it all down for you.

Bermuda shorts

With their loose fit and suit-like fabric, Bermuda shorts offer both comfort and formality. However, there is a risk—the 1990s-style Bermudas can visually shorten your height. Pay special attention to your shoes: heeled shoes are the best option to elongate your silhouette, while ballet flats or Mary Jane shoes are the most comfortable. Save bulky shoes for other outfits.
