Nine new designs pair sculptural gold links with vivid colour and the soft lustre of Akoya pearls.

Tiffany & Co. has introduced new HardWear jewellery in 18k yellow gold with turquoise and Akoya pearls. The additions span necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants: nine designs that bring a fresh perspective to the collection’s recognisable geometry.

The starting point was an archival Tiffany necklace of lapis lazuli and pearls worn by Rachel Lambert “Bunny” Mellon. Nathalie Verdeille, the house’s Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery, reinterpreted the combination through turquoise and the expressive palette of Pop Art.

A highlight is a long convertible necklace in which turquoise beads alternate with Akoya pearls. Two clasps allow it to be worn long, wrapped twice around the neck, or separated into a shorter necklace and a bracelet. Matching drop earrings echo the same pairing of materials.

The turquoise is sourced from the United States and Mexico and selected for its colour, while the Akoya pearls come from Japan. Against polished gold, the blue stone emphasises the shape of the links as the pearls soften their precise geometry.

The new HardWear designs are available from October 2026 on Tiffany & Co.’s official website and in the house’s boutiques.
