Uzbekistan has unveiled its national pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka. The opening ceremony was attended by the mayor of Osaka, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, and Gayane Umerova, Head of the Culture Foundation of Uzbekistan.

The pavilion called the “Garden of Knowledge” reflects a fusion of national traditions and modern technology. Designed by the German architecture firm Atelier Brückner, the structure is inspired by Uzbekistan’s rich historical heritage and built using sustainable materials such as Japanese cedar and Uzbek ceramic tilework.

The Expo will host a variety of cultural events, including a concert by the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra on May 18 and a special performance dedicated to Independence Day on September 1. Uzbekistan has also announced its participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Art of Tomorrow conference.
The Uzbekistan Pavilion will be open to Expo visitors for six months.
