What to wear on vacation?

No matter what type of vacation you choose—whether it’s a relaxing beach getaway or an active exploration of sights and activities—selecting outfits is inevitable.

Of course, there’s always the standard capsule wardrobe: denim or linen shorts, silk skirts, lightweight shirts, tops, and t-shirts. But why not add something special to your vacation wardrobe? If it’s jeans, let them be adorned with rhinestones or appliqués. If shirts, go for boho style. And don’t forget the trendy colors of summer 2024!

Replace your usual two-piece outfits with lace ensembles, and choose swimsuits that can stand alone as stylish pieces. Imagine heading to the pool or beach in an asymmetrical skirt with large lace, complemented by a top with voluminous roses or bold cutouts. Swap your pareo for a loosely knit dress, or opt for low-rise skirts.

For dinner by the shore or with a mountain view, choose voluminous chiffon blouses, corsets, wide palazzo pants, or dresses in the trendy silhouettes of the 70s. Look for options in soft shades, with prints or sparkles. Vacation is a time when the boldest fantasies in styling are welcomed and allowed — just make sure they’re appropriate for the setting, with a slight nod to being overdressed.
