Alessandro Michele unveils his first collection for Valentino
171 resort line looks.
Alessandro Michele, a new creative director of Valentino, debuted his Resort 2025 collection. Originally expected in September, Michele managed to put together an impressive collection of 171 looks just a few months after his appointment.
Michele delved into the House’s archives, getting inspiration from Valentino Garavani’s 1968 Collezione Bianca. White coats with the V logo on the pockets, lace tights, and low-heeled shoes evoked memories of that era. True to his style, Michele’s signature touch was evident throughout the collection.
The lookbook for the resort collection features 98 detailed photos showcasing accessories, footwear, and bags. The collection includes ruffled and argyle coats, tweed miniskirts, lurex breeches, knee-high socks, knitted mittens, headbands, pearl necklaces and earrings, hair bows, ankle straps, mules, floral print slippers… That’s what Valentino looks like now.
