In August, Gstaad comes alive as a stage: the pounding of hooves and the gleam of watches create a rhythm that can be felt with every breath.

This year, the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad once again brought together the global polo elite, transforming the Gstaad-Saanenland airfield into an arena where tradition meets the modern artistry of watchmaking.

A palette of altitude

The Hublot team entered the field in unexpected shades – deep petroleum and fresh mint. The colors echoed the brand’s new timepieces: the Big Bang Unico 42 mm and the Big Bang One Click 33 mm. The polished ceramic of the models shone as if reflecting the shimmering Alpine glaciers, while the contours of the cases conveyed the sensation of pure architecture.

The 42 mm Unico conceals within it the MHUB1280 calibre – a movement assembled so that every component operates with surgical precision. The flyback chronograph responds faster than the eye can catch the shift of motion. The One Click 33 mm strikes a different chord: a gracefully sized case and 36 diamonds on the bezel emphasize an elegance that carries no hint of fragility.

Those who took the cup

Victory in the final was claimed by Team Gstaad Palace. Markus and Tommy Graeff, Francisco Fucci, and Martin Podestá delivered a performance where strategy and passion moved shoulder to shoulder. Their trophy – Hublot watches engraved with Winner. Each case now bears the mark of their triumph.

Pauses that hold life

During breaks, spectators step onto the field to restore the churned-up earth – a simple act that unites all participants of the celebration. This year, among the guests were actors Cyril Metzger and Giuseppe Maggio, and entrepreneur Xenia Tchoumi – their presence infused the gathering with a touch of social brilliance and a cultural gesture.

Time as an ally

“The partnership between Hublot and the Gstaad Polo has reflected common values that have fostered a deep and vibrant connection, driven by passion, friendship, and trust,” noted Julien Tornare, CEO of Hublot.

In Gstaad, time does not count seconds – it captures moments that remain in memory. When Hublot sets the rhythm, every instant becomes part of the tournament’s story.
