Chanel’s Métiers d’Art collection
Show to be led by Matthieu Blazy

On December 2, Chanel will present its Métiers d’Art collection in New York City. The show will be directed by Matthieu Blazy, the brand’s new creative director. As a teaser, Chanel released a New York subway map adorned with its logo – a nod to Coco Chanel’s transatlantic trips to the U.S. in the 1930s. The very first Métiers d’Art collection, launched in 2002, was dedicated to the house’s heritage and the continuity between generations.
“I am delighted that Matthieu Blazy has chosen New York for his first Métiers d'Art show,” commented Chanel president Bruno Pavlovsky. “He will make the creative energy of the city he knows so well resonate with the exceptional savoir-faire of the house.”
