From Biarritz to Sydney — Chanel takes its cruise collection to Australia

Chanel’s Cruise 2026/27 collection continues its journey. Following its April debut in Biarritz, the house chose Sydney for a replica show — two presentations are scheduled for November 5 in Barangaroo.

A replica show brings an existing collection to a new city, introducing it more closely to a local audience. This time, the French coast meets Australia — both locations share a relaxed rhythm of life by the ocean.

In Matthieu Blazy’s collection, loose silhouettes, crochet and raffia details capture that mood. Feathers, fish-scale-like sequins and bold jewellery add theatricality to the resort wardrobe.

Even the invitations follow the maritime theme — guests received silver-toned necklaces with shell-shaped lockets containing a whale’s tail.
