Prada reissues Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s iconic loafers
The dalmatian-print style from the 1995 collection returns for the holiday season.
Prada is bringing back the dalmatian-print loafers from its fall/winter 1995 collection. The style earned its place in fashion history through Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, who wore the pair to New York’s The Bowery Bar with John F. Kennedy Jr. in October that year.

The black-and-white spots return as part of the house’s holiday offering. Alongside the loafers, the print appears on bags, a bucket hat and other accessories. The new version of the shoes is crafted from calf hair leather.

For an everyday look, these loafers need only a simple foundation: straight-leg jeans, a white shirt or black knitwear. The contrasting pattern provides the focal point, leaving little need for additional prints.
