A new exhibition showcasing the personal collection of Hamish Bowles, renowned fashion historian and curator, has opened in Marrakech. Over the past five decades, Bowles has meticulously assembled a collection of Yves Saint Laurent pieces, many of which hold significant historical and cultural value.

The exhibition features 53 exclusive designs, including garments once worn by Nan Kempner, billionaire Lily Safra, and French model Betty Catroux, all of whom played a role in shaping Saint Laurent’s legacy.

The choice of Marrakech as the exhibition’s setting is deeply symbolic. The city had a profound influence on Yves Saint Laurent’s creative vision, inspiring some of his most iconic works—including the famed patchwork collection of 1969.
